– Morocco will receive on Monday its second high-speed train (TGV) at the Port of Tangier Med,
the National Office of Railways (ONCF) said on Friday.“The transfer of this train to the Tangier maintenance workshop will take place in a number of special convoys,” the ONCF said in a
statement, adding that the train’s components will be transferred to the assembly and maintenance center installed next to the ONCF station of Moghogha.“The assembly of all these components will
begin immediately after the arrival at the workshop,” the statement said.The high-speed train is the first of its kind in Africa. It will link Tangier to Kenitra in only 1 hour and 30 minutes.In
the future, the TGV will connect Tangier to Casablanca in 2 hours and 10 minutes instead of five hours on the current train.When King Mohammed VI and the former French President Nicolas
Sarkozy launched the project in September 2011, the high-speed train was scheduled to be operational in December 2015.

set to expand its Nile transportation project to Adabiya port and Damietta port, located on the western shore of Suez Bay, Managing Director of Qalaa Holding for transportation and logistics
Karim Sadek told Daily News Egypt.“The company is ready to start its operations in Adabiya and the next step will be to go to Damietta,” Sadek said.The Alexandria port had an issue regarding
delays, the company official noted, explaining that the docks were insufficient for the volume of ships and products, so ships were forced to wait for about 10 to 20 days.“We offered a new
service; which is to unpack those ships on barges so it minimises the waiting time, and products arrive in Nubaria port form the Alexandria port faster,” he said.The company has been working in
Alexandria for the past two years.
10/09/2015 (Arab News - KSA): RIYADH: The Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) is planning to connect all the regions of the country
with a railway network spanning 2,750 km.Rumaih bin Muhammad Al-Rumaih, chief executive
officer of the SRO, said that the north to south line would be over 1,242 km across six stations. He disclosed this information at a recent meeting with members of the Council of Saudi Chambers’
(CSC) national industrial committee.This was in response to committee members raising
several concerns at the meeting including linking of industrial cities to remote areas of the country and for the government to provide more support for local businesses.Saad Al-Muajjal, head of the committee, said cooperation was needed between the SRO and businesses to ensure
that the economy grows. “The sector needs support to strengthen its competitiveness,” he said.Al-Rumaih said that the
SRO wants partnerships with investors. He said the SRO’s projects are planned by the Ministry of Transport, which is tasked
with improving the rail network to help grow the economy.

Majesty King Abdullah, who opened the Jordanian pavillion.Jordan is an honorary guest at the event that will run through September 13. The
agreements include $1.7 billion project to build Jordan's first oil shale-fired power plant in the Attarat area, in the south of the Kingdom, to produce around 900 megawatt of
electricity. The agreement, signed in Beijing on Wednesday in the presence of King Abdullah, stipulates that a consortium of Chinese companies and Jordan's Al Lajjun Oil Shale will
build the power station in the Southern Governorate of Karak, according to Jordan Investment Board Commissioner Montaser Oqlah.

participate in financing, projecting and construction of 712 kilometers of new railroad and modernization of 449 kilometers of railroad that already exists.

high-level meetings with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Taro Aso among other ministers and senior officials and has highlighted that the Indian public

transportation in Yunnan, a southwest border area, according to approval letters released on Friday by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).Investment into Zhengzhou-Wanzhou
high-speed railroad totalled 118 billion yuan, the biggest among the new projects.With a designed speed of 350 km, the 818-km-long railway is expected to carry 60 million passengers per
